Itineration Update - January 2026
Happy New Year Everyone!
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will direct your paths straight. NIV
Friends, to be real honest, we are learning at a whole new level, to apply these verses to our own lives as we continue the process of itineration and preparing our hearts and lives for the move to Ukraine. We are excited and anxious to go, yet at the same time, leaning in to trusting in His timing, purpose and plan knowing they are different than our own.
Thank You!
We cannot say Thank You enough to all of you for your prayer support, words of encouragement, and financial gifts. We do not take any of those lightly or for granted. Every prayer said on our behalf, word of encouragement spoken to us, and financial gift given matters to us and makes an impact; helping us get one step closer to being in Ukraine. We began the New Year sitting at 66% of our monthly budget, having received three, late December commitments. On January 19 we kicked off a new campaign with the goal of reaching 80% of our monthly budget by the end of February. Four days into the campaign, we had already received several new commitments and a couple of "increased" commitments, moving us to 71% of our monthly budget. Currently we are hovering right at, to slightly over, 100% of our cash budget. We are so very grateful for every gift and commitment and for the Lord's faithfulness to us as we try to walk in obedience to His call on our lives.
Itineration Trail
As we begin preparing information for our tax preparer, we discovered we drove nearly 85,000 miles by the end 2025, just on itineration travel. And the miles are already adding up in this new year. January has been a busier month than was December, and for that we are grateful! We still have the last week of February open and are praying we can get it filled, along with March - May. We are still working on gathering pictures of the "places we have been," during our itineration journey and hope to get them on our webpage soon. If you haven't visited our webpage yet or didn't know we had one, we encourage you to go there and check it out: https://www.globalwicks.org/ .We will be posting updates on the push to 80% campaign and pictures of where we have been on our web page, on the private Facebook page, and on Brad's LinkedIn page.
One of our January highlights has been getting to preform a wedding ceremony for a friend of many years. Congratulations to Jack and Sally Shaw!

Prayer Needs
That our schedule for March and April will fill in.
For our monthly budget to move from 71% - 100% quickly, enabling us to get to Ukraine. Allowing Gayle to begin teaching and Brad to get busy with the Church and helping with relief outreach efforts.
That we will continue to fully trust in the Lord's timing, not leaning on our own understanding or pushing for our own timing.
For Kyiv Christian Academy as they are currently looking for additional teachers and continue repairs on their building.
International Christian Assembly as they face some financial needs. Needing to upgrade or replace some equipment and have repairs done on their emergency generator. As well as funds for ongoing relief efforts.
For an end to the invasion and war, that a time of peace and renewal can settle upon Ukraine.
Praise
